July Fourth Parade (I know this is early..)

How would your Scouts like to
participate in the July 4th Parade?
I bet they'd LOVE IT!!
We are interested in getting together as many boys as we can to walk together in the annual July 4th Parade in The Woodlands. We won't be entering the parade as a competitive group, we'll simply enter as a community group in hopes of getting some publicity for Scouting in The Woodlands.

Several Tall Timbers Packs and Troops already participate in the parade with their own floats. We won't be competing against these units, so if you are one of those groups, please continue to participate in your slot. The Tall Timbers District group will consist of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and we'll need adult leaders, too! We'll have our new district banner, but we'd also welcome any Pack, Den, Troop, Patrol, Crew or Team flags.
We just want to have a lot of fun, celebrate our country's independence day, and show that Scouting is alive and well South Montgomery County!!

If you have a long flatbed trailer and/or can pull one or if you have some ideas to make our parade experience a success, please contact Mike Lampkin (mike@lampkin.net).

Further details will be posted at Tall Timbers site and more information will come soon! We hope you can make it.
I think this would be fun for our pack! If anyone is interested,
let me know! I will be posting more information later!
