Maps and Compass

Last night two of the boys earned their Maps and Compass belt loop! Now you should be able to hand your boys an area map, drop them off and let them find their way home.

To earn the Map and Compass belt loop, you must complete the following:

• Show how to orient a map. Find three landmarks on the map.
• Explain how a compass works.
• Draw a map of your neighborhood. Label the streets and plot the route you take to get to a place that you often visit.
