I've spent the morning updating the look, links and posts a little bit! Hopefully you can find any and all information you are looking for. If not, feel free to contact your Den leader or Cub Master. A Little About The Cub Scout Program
The Cub Scout program usually follows the calendar school year, starting in the fall and ending in as summer starts. Our program starts when the boys turn 8 and are introduced into the Wolf Den. The boys earn their rank (Wolf, Bear, Webelo) and then work on earning arrow points (which are belts loops and pins). Usually by this time they should have earned their rank and then just have several pack meetings in the summers to keep them excited about Scouting. Since some of the boys are still new, we are planning on meeting weekly through the summer so as to help them earn their rank and prepare them for their advancements.
The Cub Scout program is family oriented, and many of their requirements are made to do at home with the help of a parent or grand parent. Please help your son meet his requirements! Keep track of the things he does at home and then report them to your Den leader so they can give them the proper awards.
If your son does not have a book, I've provided links on the sidebar so you can still find the requirements for them to complete their rank.
We really enjoy our weekly meetings with your boys, they are fun and energetic and we look forward to a great summer!!!
